If you haven't read the papers yet then you've probably been living in the bush, as an aussie film is going to take place in downtown Cabramatta (that's right, CABRAMATTA). News has it that Cate Blanchett (from Lord of the Rings fame) will be the main star in the movie written by someone behind the Secret Life of Us. It's about the story of 5 kids (little fish). No brownie points for anyone that guesses that it's gonna be gang related.
Word also has it that Hugo Weaving (aka Agent Smith) will be in for the adventure (Poke + Siv saw Hugo in Cabra on a visit with his family a few years back), as well as Sam Neil, that dude from Jurassic Park.
Let's hope that there's no fobby actors. Filming starts next month. Resource: Champion Newspaper.
CANE-TOAD

Ever fantasised about cane-toads? never have i until i came across this little gem that's already won awards and is still the buzz even though it was released two years ago. Cane-toad is a short 3D animated film made by two Aussie guys, and honestly, it's as good as those shorts films that you see in the Extra's section in Pixar's films. I won't dawdle on the story details, but i will say it's "bloody" brilliant. The animation is fantastic and the art is simply amazing. The file is abit huge for 56k ppl, but its worth the dl.

POWERPUFFBOYSPOWERPARTY

Thanks all those who came along to the PowerPuffBoysPowerParty at short notice. I can't remember much from the small bbq, except for the horde of S15s that came along for the ride; and oh yes how all our cars took over the little parking lot at the eating place. special cheers to my bday buddies keveo(20) and ping(19), and a very special tang tang to the girls for making the sandwiches which only lasted 20 secs when they were exposed to the hungry public.
p.s lets point and laugh at Willy for being an idiot when he tried to take over the S15's only to shit his pants with oncoming traffic!
