image: can't wait for the xmas party antics!
That's right you heard right folks. This year we're spending xmas with a bbq. Keveo has plans for it to be held at Chipping Norton. Activities include obviously cooking under the 40° sun, card games and the ever popular volleyball. Any objections? Forward your ideas to Keveo.
Invites will be sent out soon via Keveo.
Follow-up news: my house is completed! looks like a castle though. Seriously. and people say it's the same as Jenny's house. drop by for a visit if you're bored.
More follow-up news: sorry for the updates. i didn't have a phone line for a few days.
XMAS
IS COMING. AND SO IS NYE.
Sunday
5th Dec 2004
No, you're not looking at an old news archive. it's in fact a picture that greatly summarises that great night we had on NYE 2003. Holy fuck, can you believe that 12 months have passed? Time these days flies faster that you can say Hiliary's Hot. To all those people who dogged the party cuz they had better plans at Godspeed or Utopia because it was more "important" then spending time with the HG family then up urs cuz you guys missed the party of the year. I'm still recovering from the beer bong and the chants that we had on the night still echo in my head. (well not really, but you get the point).
Anyway the only reason why i bought this up is cuz xmas is coming, and what the fug are we doing? I can't even recall what we did last year although Helen says we went on a picnic... how bland.. hehe. anyway, any suggestions for what we should do for xmas this year? or even for NYE? Places to crash at? Parents to upset? Houses to destroy? Get those ideas running at the tagboard.
And yes, the beer bong must make a return.
WHAT's
A RESFEST WITH YOU?
Saturday
4th Dec 2004
Brought to Sydney by the lovely people at DesignisKinky, RESFEST is a digital film festival showcasing great talent from around the world as well as talent down under, under various categories such as TV commercials, design-focused motion, as well as 2D/3D animation. It's a great way to soak up the atmosphere and see what the fuck are people up to in their development houses and animation studios. Keep in mind that this is a digital film festival, ie. mini DV, 3d, animation, nothing traditional like physical film used in the productions.
Ttickets run from $12 (concession) or $15 (full) per session, or if you're crazy like me $110 for the RESPASS (which grants you access to the full 3 days). If anyone is interested, drop me a line, but i have to get out of moving house first! D'oh!
for design-minded people: motion graphic stars on show include MK12, Psyop & DesignersRepublic. (take note that it's nothing we haven't seen before).
