ANDY's 21st
Sunday 30th Jan 2005

Andy wasn't gonna show up at his own party. But he did anyway. We didn't get to fish on the boats cuz people were late and Mr. Inchinable didn't book the place. Oh well. we ended up on a beach and fished, swam and built sandcastles.

ASIAN CULTURE ON TV?
Sunday 23rd Jan 2005

Imagine a tv show based on Asians. Made by Asians and made for Asians. Interestingly thats the premise for a new show still early in its concept stages. Honey Roasted Tv is its name, and its Asian Culture focused. Based on Sydney Asian youth culture, as well as its "beautiies, richness and complexities" the show explores nightlife, trends, issues, cool people, cars, fashion, games, places and gossip presented by 4 Asian Australian VJs. (gossip? within the asian community? like who slept with who? lol). as for the VJs, check out the applications. some are pretty hot.

LYNETTE's 20th
Monday 17th Jan 2005

Happy birthday Lynette. The party was rad, the alcoholism was mad and the music well, didn't do much cuz the amp had blown beforehand which was pretty sad.

hilarity here.

IT's GONNA BE AN IPOD WORLD
Sunday 16th Jan 2005

As if the world hasn't soaked up in iPods already, the dudes at Apple are now bringing out an even more smaller version of the iPod Mini called the iPod Shuffle. Why called Shuffle? Because Apple believes in this new thing called randomness. But i think they're just covering up the fact that there's no screen on the iPod Shuffle at all, so they throw in this idea of randomly going through the song list to play. Don't fear however, as the traditional ordered-play is still available. What else can one expect from this new device? Besides the lack of a screen it retails for $150 for the 512mb model ($230 for the 1gb model) which is a pretty good buy esp when other mp3 players at this size sell for abt $120 but look nothing like the trademark white of the iPods. Oh yeh, it's also USB connected.

This is just another step for Apple in gaining an even bigger market share of portable mp3 players - not like its already big enough, fuck, it's the icon of today's Pop culture.

THANH BDAY PICS
Friday 7th Jan 2005

Shiet. Yesterday's party was heaps better than our NYE party back at Kim's. There wasn't as much booze, but everyone was all over the place pledging their love for each other. The outdoor karaoke thingo was heaps awesome with everyone taking part in making the neighbours fed up. Some beatboxing took place me thinks, with Bow wow and Wormboy leading the pack. Too bad i couldn't rock the mike, cuz i had to take care of me lady. HA! The bridge across from Piggie's house was the communitry urinal with all the lads whipping their ding-a-lings on it at least once. The local cop shop was gonna get some "art" done to it by the likes of me and mike, but alas, we were too drunk to get the cans.

Next time...Pics here.

STREET ART IS COOL
Friday 7th Jan 2005

Street art. What is it? It's well, art on the street! Whether it's graffiti, stickers, stencils, whatever.. it's so hot that its influencing our culture as we know it. Sydney street art is abit suckish compared to the stencil revolution down in Melburn. I was there with the HG boys a few months ago, kept these pics from public view since then. Why? Cuz i didn't know people around here were into the shit.

Until i spoke to some old friends who have just recently tasted a sense of street art from various sources. Now with a burning passion to lay down some ink on the streets, the Street Art Revolution is coming to our local streets.

HAPPY NEW YEAR. IT's 2005!
saturday 1st Jan 2005

An obvious happy new yrs to everyone! Last night party was abit suckish compared to last year's one but hey, we had fun anyway. Not as many drunk people for some reason, but had alot of good pumping music. hmm, i just realised there was no food at the party, besides that roasting pig.

Anyway, enjoy the pics. have a fun and safe new year,
as im out to get some shut eye.

Congrats to Ethan for his consistent effot to pick up some chick, but with no result!
