At first, i didn't like the album at all. The only reason why i bought it was because it had "What you waiting for". That song totally rocks and pumps hard in the car. Anyway, i just let the album play in the background during one of my work sessions, and suprisingly, it got addictive.

The tunes, melodies and instruments are not the usual ones you would hear in today's bubblegum pop world. It's very 80's ish which is a suprise as i thought no one could revive the big hair era. The songs are full of Gwen attitude and at alot of the times you can just picture Gwen pouting by the way she pronounces the words.

Produced by a heck of big people like Andre 3000 (Outkast), Dr Dre, as well as the Neptunes.

Hmm after listening to the album, i think Gwen is obsessed with Harajuku Girls (jap fashion chicks i think), esp with the word harajuku splashed around it the debut track as well as having another track titled "harajuku girls".
